God’s Work, Our Hands

Community Supper

A free dinner is served to our Community on the last Friday of each month from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

A wonderful array of meals are prepared and cooked at Bethany for service to all who would enjoy a delicious, free meal and fellowship. Dinner includes a main course, vegetable, side dish, our famous sundae bar and baked goods. Carry-out dinners are available. Currently we cook for between 100 – 300 people and the Community Supper is completely supported by free-will donations. The table is set…We’ll provide the food…You provide the appetite!

Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry

Volunteers from Bethany work a shift at Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry on the second Friday of the month from 9:45 am to noon.

Hesed House Homeless Shelter

We help at Hesed House Homeless Shelter every other month on the fourth Sunday.

There are many ways to serve at Hesed House: help drive meals, stay for serving the meal, clean up after the meal, help prepare lunches, hand out personal items and bedding, locker duty, overnight shift, help make breakfast in the morning. You may find one or more of these volunteer opportunities work for your schedule.
