The Community Supper is always on the last Friday of the month. The church and the community support our mission where we provide over 150 meals monthly FREE of charge.
We have a Friday sign up list you might be used to seeing, but did you know a lot of the work happens during the week before the Friday Community Supper? Meat needs to be browned or baked, veggies need to be cut, and casseroles need to be assembled. On Friday morning, tables need to be set and food needs to be assembled.
Do you have a couple hours a month where you could lend a hand to keep this ministry going? You can work around YOUR schedule.
Many area Community Suppers had to close down due to lack of help and support. That is not the case at Bethany. We have lots of support and folks who care about this ministry. People have come to count on us as one of the few churches still doing this. We just need to boost our volunteer numbers a little bit so our fearless leaders don’t get burned out.
